Welcome!

The Borderland is an event and community of people who create together. It's the liminal space between dreams and realities, its borders delimited only by your fancy and fantasies. It's a growing community of people of different backgrounds, interests, outlooks, and skills.

This event is an empty container for you to fill and play in. It's not a festival, there's no line-up, and there are no shops or food stalls. You, together with everyone else, create the Borderland.

There are many ways to contribute, from taking shifts, to planning a camp or art piece. Most people do a combination of all these things.

This is the time to start co-creating the Borderland and making it what you want it to be. You are in the driver seat! Look through this FB group, look through Discord, through Talk, try to navigate the maze of information and social media channels. It’s not easy. We all know it. But it’s worth it! And if you have an idea how to make navigation through all this easier, go ahead and make it happen

You make The Borderland happen! Organisation happens mainly on The Borderland Discord chat, with Talk being used for Advice Processes around important decisions. You can also get updates in the facebook group.

There are many practical things that need to be organised for The Borderland to happen. Coda, Discord and Talk provide the backbone of organising The Borderland in a self-managing way. Here you can see an overview of who is responsible for what, and which responsibilities are yet to be fulfilled.
